How were we able to create a boat so smart?

By doing this we have complete control over all the hardware and software on the boat. In engineering terms, this is called “Closed-Loop Control” and when you have this, every single component of the boat can communicate with each other seamlessly in milliseconds.

 
 

User Interface

The boat’s helm shouldn’t be intimidating or even complex. Qurrent’s hyper-focus on simplicity and function led us to a 50” 4K bright and vibrant touchscreen that interfaces our highly integrated Mariana AI system and accesses control to every feature on the boat. The UI gives you navigation, captain’s panel, and the entire boats state all on one screen. No extra gauges, displays, or confusing buttons. An all-in-one simple unit, it's like a toddler using an iPad.

Artificial Intelligence

Qurrent would like to formally introduce you to Mariana, who is our AI assistant that takes control of the boat when you don't want to. Mariana lives in a 3D world built by our advanced sensor suite. Inside Mariana’s 3D world she is able to not only see anything and everything around the boat but is also able to map it all. This gives us the database of objects above, below, and on the surface of the water; making boating more enjoyable, unique, and safer for all.

Sensor Suite

Qurrent’s sensor suite consists of an array of cutting-edge sensors designed to create a 3D environment that our AI assistant Mariana uses to safely navigate open waters, dock at complex marinas, or even launch and load your boat at the ramp. With a mixture of sensors and cameras the images are crisp and the information is endless.

Electric Drive

Through rigorous testing, multiple motors, and investigating every battery option available we are bringing the most powerful electric drive to the market. With twin main motors putting out well over 1000hp and XL thrusters that can steady the boat in ruff waters you will never run out of power. With the 800V scalable battery up to full day on the lake is no issue for Qurrent.
